A solitary figure on a beautiful bridge,

standing in the rain,

the red umbrella capping his mood,

the oppressive muggy heat

pounding in his ears,

the tall buildings

crushing his physical being,

the shimmering water, in circles,

small, then expanding,

like his brain,

throbbing, throbbing, throbbing,

the silence foreboding.
