The Schmincke Aqua Shine is a solution of Gum Arabic, pearlescent pigments. which can be used to achieve a shimmering pearlescent effect on Watercolour paintings.
The medium can be used directly from the bottle and applied to a dry layer of watercolour, dropped into wet paint or mixed with the watercolour paint to add shimmer.
This is ready to use but can be diluted with water if required and like a watercolour paint it remains water-soluble.
