In the second of a six part series, professional artist Matthew Palmer continues teaching his student Mandy the wonders of watercolour painting, this time with a snowy landscape. Matthew begins by mixing four simple colours, before showing how to create a bright winter sky, a cluster of trees and a snowy grass bank. Matthew demonstrates how to use the paper together with light washes of colour to create a snow covered landscape, complete with a winding path.
