The resources you need:

  • A sheet of watercolour paper, ideally stuck to a board with masking tape Matthew will 1/4 Imperial size (15.5′′ × 10.5′′) Not or Cold Pressed. 140lb / 300gsm paper recommended.
  • 3 Primary Colours
  • 1. Natural Blue (or Ultramarine Blue)
  • 2. Natural Red (or Alizarin Crimson)
  • 3. Natural Yellow Light (or Cadmium Yellow)
  • Natural Opaque White paint or gouache (optional)
  • 3 Brushes
  • Matthew Palmer SuperPoint Large, Medium & Small.
  • OR 1. Large brush (size 6 or 20 round)
  • 2. Medium brush (size 10 or 12 round)
  • Small brush (size 5 or 6 round)
  • A rigger brush or a Matthew Palmer Branch & Detail Brush (optional)
